Most of my multi-coloured collection of work goes Untitled and although this one is ‘Untitled 25’ it also goes by the name of ‘squares within squares’ to distinguish it.
This series of paintings has proved very popular and I enjoy taking the time to carve out the detailed separate squares with their random choice of colouring. Each painting is unique and only prismatic colours are used to get a totally vibrant effect. A heavy gloss varnish is added for more depth of colour plus some gold leaf.
