October Highlights

October has been a fun month! I finished off a few of my new paintings and got them framed in time for the exhibition at the Craft House. It was really nice to have a proper exhibition with Alison and Jo after mostly taking part in group exhibitions. The week went well and some paintings went off to their new homes, so thank you to the buyers.

I have already booked in to go back to the Craft House but as they are pretty booked up already I am booked in for September 2024! I will be looking to find other venues for more exhibitions in 2023 and hope to get a cancellation in the Craft House in 2023.

I was also voted in as a member of Ipswich Art Society recently. Members are voted in by a panel so I was very pleased to be accepted as a member, having been a friend for quite a few years.

I was also excited that this month I was featured in a couple of collections on Saatchi Art. Firstly one of my paintings was in the ‘New This Week’ feature for the week commencing 24th October. Also, the same painting was included in the ‘Best of October’ collection which you can see here. It is great to get into these collections as there are thousands of artists on the platform so it is nice to get recognised.

Saatchi Art has some of my paintings for sale where they can be shipped all over the world (one has already gone off to the USA).

I am really enjoying doing this new work although each painting can take a while to complete but I am loving the results so I hope that you are too.
